How is this different from the small blanket?

Size and mission. The 2x3 ft version is a portable lap shield; this 4x5 ft throw is full-body coverage for the couch, bed, reading chair or EV seat.

The large silver-lined panel keeps its shielding integrity best with gentle hand washing, a fair trade for a blanket that doubles as an EMF barrier.

Can it really be used in an EV?

Yes, draping it over your lap while the vehicle charges puts a shielded layer between you and the strongest fields, one of the most popular uses owners report.
