Which solar panels fit?

Most foldable and portable panels up to roughly 48 x 30 inches folded, including the popular briefcase-style folding kits.

Do solar panels really need EMP protection?

Panel electronics, charge controllers and junction diodes are vulnerable like any circuitry. Stored shielded, your power generation survives the event your other preps assume.

Can I store other large gear in it?

Yes. Anything that fits the 48 x 30 x 4 inch profile gets the same triple-layer shielding: cables, controllers and flat electronics ride along.
