What does BellCrier do?

We watch your email addresses for data breaches. When one shows up in a leak, we email you which website was breached, what was exposed (masked, like pa******) and a link to change that password.

Where does the breach data come from?

We check several breach-data providers, including Have I Been Pwned, and combine their results so you see each breach once.

Do you store my passwords?

No. We only keep masked details (for example the first few characters of a leaked password) so you can recognise which password it was.

Can I monitor my family's emails?

Yes, with their permission. Every address must be verified through a link we send to it, so its owner has to agree before any results are shown.

I got an alert. What should I do?

Change the password on the breached site (we link to it), change it anywhere else you used the same one, and turn on two-factor authentication. Then click "Mark as solved".

Can I get a refund?
