How does relay theft actually work?

Thieves use a signal amplifier to stretch your fob's short-range signal from inside your home to your car, which unlocks and starts as if the key were present. The Vault blocks the signal at the source, so there is nothing to amplify.

Will it work for my car's fob?

Yes. It blocks both 315 MHz (most North American vehicles) and 433.92 MHz (European, Japanese and Asian vehicles), plus every common wireless band beyond fobs.

Why metal instead of a Faraday pouch?

The Vault is 2.1 mm solid aluminum with a magnetic-sealed lid: a permanent, zero-wear enclosure for the entry table. Pouches are for carry; the Vault is the home base.

Can I put other things in it?

Yes. It is sized and felt-lined for fobs, crypto hardware wallets and USB keys, and it provides ESD protection for all of them.

$65.95 US $80.00 $14.05 OFF (17%)

Relay car theft takes under 60 seconds: one thief stands near your front door amplifying your key fob's signal, the other opens your car and drives away. The GoDark Vault ends the attack completely. Drop your fob in, close the magnetic lid, and your car cannot hear its own key.

Blocks fob frequencies cold: 315 MHz (North American vehicles) and 433.92 MHz (European, Japanese and Asian vehicles)
Full-spectrum shielding: also blocks CDMA, GSM, DCS, PHS, 3G, 4G, 5G, LTE, Wi-Fi (2.4-5 GHz), Bluetooth, GPS (1-2 GHz), RFID and NFC (13.56 MHz)
Solid aluminum construction: 1/12 inch (2.1 mm) thick shielding, not foil and fabric
Sealed tight: magnetic closure and sturdy hinge keep the lid shut, felt-lined interior protects your fob
Doubles as ESD protection: ideal electrostatic discharge storage for crypto hardware wallets and USB keys

Park it by the door, drop the fob in every night, keep the car in the morning. Free US shipping.
